*Fizzle* *Crackle* *Fizzle* Hello? Is this thing working? Hey Wizard and Dragon fans! They've been blocking my transmissions so I haven't been able to post anything for a while. I'm sure you have a lot of questions, but for now just sit tight and listen. I hope this will answer at least a few of your questions. So as I said on that other post Tom and I were going on some sort of a one time space camp thing. The chauffeur dropped us off at a big building, and we walked inside. Tom looked like a normal kid because he had put on an ID mask. It's supposed to change your appearance for when you need to look like something else. So far everything was like a normal field trip. They were doing a simulation where the probe team had to repair a space probe, and create a new one to pick up rock and soil samples on the moon. The Med. team had to keep everyone on the spaceship healthy. The Isolation team had to use mechanical arms to handle stuff we can't touch. The Navigation team looked at messages sent by mission control, and forwarded them to the people they were supposed to get to. Don't ask me why. They told us which teams we were on, and sent us to the space craft. Tom and I were on the probe team. When we got on the space shuttle simulator we slipped on our special, white, lab coats, we were the only people who got to wear lab coats! YAY!, and slipped into the airlock room. We grabbed the broken probe with an, on computer, digital, robotic arm. We were almost finished fixing the probe, when suddenly there came a loud crashing noise. Everyone in the space shuttle simulator looked up. Then it came again, but louder this time. The plaster ceiling crumbled a little, and we could see white speck falling from it. "Well this isn't good." Tom said, and I just stood there holding my breath in fear of what was to fall from the ceiling. It came just as I expected. *CRASH!!!* What came through the ceiling wasn't a troll though, and it certainly wasn't a basilisk. Surprisingly it wasn't my evil, seven year old, cousin Ricky either. No, It definitely wasn't Ricky. It was some sort of robot. It's shiny, metallic, plating was painted a bright, yet deadly, red and orange. There was a strip of very advanced mechanical stuff across the front of it's, dome shaped, helmet. It was located around where the eyes would be on a human, so I could only guess that's what it sees through. It's robotic fist quickly converted into what looked like some sort of plasma cannon. It raised it's weapons, and pointed them at the two adults in the room saying, "This is marine droid #54271. By order of the Mecha supreme you are to be terminated immediately." It's voice sounded digital and robotic. Kind of like the voice you would find in a Sci-fi movie. But that is what's least important right now. We had to get everyone out! So with my wand in my hand I yelled, "Teleportatia!"And Just like that, everyone disappeared. There was only one problem though. Tom and I were still there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Darn this wand!" I yelled. "It only works to a certain limit!" "He he he. Archmage?" Tom said nervously. I turned around, and there was the robot. He was pointing his plasma cannon at me, when I heard a digital say, "Target locked." "Oh no he didn't." I said. "Yeah, he did." said Tom. "And I think we should move out of the way right about... NOW!!!!!" Tom tackled me to the ground, just as the plasma blast was about to knock my head off. "Charging... charging... charging..." "Okay," I said. "Whoever wants to vote for running away screaming, say aye." Tom raised his hand and asked,"Is the screaming part really necessary?" "No." "Then I say aye!" "On the count of five." I said "One... two..." "Charging... charging... charging complete." "Five!!!" Tom and I shouted as we leaped for the door leading out of the space shuttle simulator. We made it just in time, as the wall behind us exploded. We ran, and ran, until we felt like we were going to collapse. I looked down at the tile floor gasping for breath, and then as suddenly as when the Mecha marine burst through the ceiling, I had an idea. I stopped running, and took out my wand. "Why are you stopping?!" Tom whispered. "We've got that psycho robot hot on our trail, remember?!" I whispered a spell and the tile lifted up exposing a hide away. The entrance grew wide enough to climb in. "Come on! Climb in!" I whispered. "No way!" said Tom. "I've had it with dark enclosed spaces!!!" Then we heard the sound of clanking metal running towards us. "Then again, the alternative is our absolute demise" said Tom quickly climbing into the hide away. After he went in I followed, and swiftly closed the entrance. The Mecha marine's footsteps went directly above us and paused for awhile, as if it had no idea where we were. Then it moved on continuing it's search. Wait. What day is it? Wednesday, January 13th, 2010!!!!! Either this computer got really messed up from all that running away, or something's going terribly wrong! I'm going for number two, but that's just my opinion. Sorry this is all I can say. The Mecha are on to me already. They're probably going to cut me off any second n- *Fizzle* *Crackle *Fizzle* beeeeeeooooooop...................................................
Hey Wizard and Dragon fans! For those of you who read my blog post, "The winners!", and looked on the "Ask Ziggy and Zany" page for Ziggy and Zany's first post, but didn't find it, sorry. Just as soon as Ziggy and Zany finished the post they knocked the computer off the desk. It took me a little while to fix it, but now it's fixed. So? What are you waiting for? Go read Ziggy and Zany's first blog post! Enjoy! :)
This just in Wizard and Dragon fans! The post with the title, "New categories", is so far the shortest post I've ever made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*loud applause*
Wow! I don't think I'm ever going to make a shorter post.
I have just added two new categories in the "Categories" found to the right side of this blog
Hey Wizard and Dragon fans! It's finally 2010!!!!!!!!!! LOL! I put 10 exclamation marks after 2010! Oh no. I just made a really, really, really bad joke! It's the first sign I'm starting to lose my mind!!! Aaaaggghhh!!!!! Calm down Archmage! Calm down!
Inhale... Exhale... Inhale... Exhale.....................................................................................
You know? I should stop telling you that I'll post stuff on holidays. I'm always too busy! I'm sorry about that, but anyway here's something I know you've been waiting for. It's the results of the drawing competition!!!!! Well, here they are...
1st place: Magic Man 2nd place: Wyvern Wonder 3rd place: Fire breather
Those are the winning names! I'll put their pictures up in the "Hall of Fame" page, "Located at the top right corner in the 'more' section", either today or tomorrow. All the other art I saw was excellent too! Everyone's pictures were so great, I had tremendous trouble choosing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! I'm really looking forward to the next competition! And just so everyone gets something, I'll put up all the other contestants' art on the "Pictures" page! But just in case you're the shy type I want people to email me a yes or no answer to the question, "Do you want your picture on the 'Pictures' page?" (So basically you just email him, telling him whether or not you want your picture put up) Hey! I thought you were on vacation! (My flight was delayed for a week or two, so I decided to spend that week, or two, with you! isn't that great!) Hooray. (That better not be a sarcastic hooray.) Hooray! (Better, but needs work) Oh, just stop! You're boring the readers to death! (Hm? Don't you mean you're boring the readers to death. I mean what with that whole, "Please email if there's a problem this! Please email me if there's a problem that!" They came here to read action, and adventure! And sometimes a little comedy. This imaginary sofa is funnier than you!) Why, you! (In fact, I'm the only thing funny in this whole post! In fact, maybe you should give me full control of the "Dragon's Blog"! In fact-) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Hello, I am Archmage's backup host. Sorry for the inconvenience, but this might take a couple of minutes. While you are waiting you can listen to this lovely music I picked out. Thank you, and have a good day.)
*Cheesy, and annoying, elevator music nobody has ever heard before*
(definitely more than a couple of minutes later...)
*Pant, pant, pant* Am I done? *Pant, pant* Man! Fighting with part of your own brain just knocks the breath right out of you! *Pant, pant, pant, pant* Okay I think I'm done now. Wait. OH NO! It's been two hours! Please tell me you didn't listen to the backup host's music! It's terrible! I've been meaning to fire that guy ever since I first used him! I keep writing myself notes, *looks at the billboard, covered in so many notes to fire the backup host, you can't really see the billboard any more* but I always seem to forget to actually fire him. Oh, well. Now where is my- Oh! Here's my pencil! Hmm. I need to buy more sticky notes. "Fire the backup host" Anyway, back to this post. Magic Man has already sent in a question for Ziggy and Zany. Now that's what I call psychic! It's as if he/she looked into the future, and saw this blog post, announcing him/her 1st place winner! Ziggy and Zany get so excited, the "only on Friday" thing isn't working for them. So until they can control their excitement, which by the way has a 99.9% chance of never happening, they will answer questions whenever they get them. But I've told them they may only answer one per day. That rule will probably be ignored too. After you are finished reading this blog post go look at the first "Ask Ziggy and Zany" post. Oh, and one more thing? I feel that part of what my conscience said is true. And don't tell him I said that. Most of you come here to read about action, and adventure. There hasn't been much of that lately. Don't worry though. Tomorrow, Tuesday January 5th, 2010, I'm taking a field-trip to this one time space camp thing. And if I've learned anything in my time as a wizard, I know that this field-trip isn't going to be of the normal sort. So, just to remind you, It's finally 2010, the three winners are you know who, other people email me to tell me whether or not you want your drawing on the "Pictures" page, I had a two hour fight with my conscience, I need to fire my backup host, go read the first "Ask Ziggy and Zany" question, and I have a field-trip tomorrow so check in on the "Dragon's Blog" to hear how it turns out. Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow. Enjoy!
Hey Wizard and Dragon fans! OMG! I'm so sorry I forgot to put up a blog post on Christmas! Lesson learned. Never underestimate the power of a busy Christmas! Anyway, tomorrow is "New Year's Eve"!!! I'm sooo excited! By the way, on January 1st, 2010, I will announce the winners of the drawing competition! YAY!!!!! So if anyone has any last minute drawings they want to enter, send them in! I got tons of cool Christmas stuff! Did you? If you got anything cool from the holiday you celebrate send me a picture of it. when you send it please use a pen name, and not your real name. I will be putting up pictures of my Christmas presents sometime soon. And another thing, someone has sent a question to Ziggy and Zany. Ziggy and Zany will talk about it this Friday. So, on Friday, when you have the time, check in on "Ask Ziggy and Zany" for the answer to the reader's question. Might I bother you with one more thing? Good! I think you'll like this! In the joy of the season I have decided to put something new on my website..... A game page!!!!! Right now there aren't many games on it, but my dad's teaching me how to program computers! So, sometime soon I will program a game to put on the game page. When I do that I will tell you in the "Dragon's Blog"! I can hardly wait for my next adventure! Go on now! Go check out the "Game" page. See if you like it. Comment on this post, (or email me) If there's something you think I should add, change, or get rid of. Have a good day! Remember, you'll hear from me on January 1st, 2010. See ya! :)
Hey Wizard and Dragon fans! Okay, just a recap to see if you remember what's happening so far. I get an enchanted Venus flytrap from my Secret Santa, The council calls Frostagian, Adam, Tom, and me to investigate mysterious tremors in Austin, Texas, and now we're trapped on one side of a cliff with an ominous feeling around us. Everybody caught up now? Good, then let's continue. "I think somebody doesn't want us to leave just yet." I said. "Yeah, you think?" said Adam. "I guess we have no choice but to follow the tunnel, and continue our mission." said Tom "We could stay here, and try to get the pilot's attention so we can go home." Adam pleaded, hopefully. Everyone just looked at him "Just joking." he chuckled. So, we made the descent into the deep, dark tunnel, not knowing what awaited us near the end. It was pretty quiet, not to mention dark. I held up my wand at the front of the line, and cast a spell. An orb made of pure, bright, light leaped from the tip of my wand. The sudden brightness made Audrey jump, and he slammed his head into mine. "L-l-lousy l-light!" Audrey cursed. The luminescent ball hovered at the front of the line, leading the way through the pitch black. Audrey explained that he didn't find any bugs earlier, and he wanted to go ahead to see if he could find any. I took the little monster out of my backpack, and placed him on the ground. He quickly ran ahead into the darkness, and disappeared from sight. Somewhere around ten minutes later the ground started shaking again, this time more violent than before. We grabbed on the wall, wondering if these few seconds would be our last. It died down as soon as I thought my hands were going to fall off from how hard I was holding on to the wall. Audrey came running back thinking, "Is i-it o-o-over y-y-yet?" "Is everyone alright?" the whole group mumbled in reply, and Audrey said, "I w-w-will b-be as s-s-soon as I c-catch a b-b-bug." I made a little chuckle at that remark. The orb of light had run off somewhere, but it came back still as bright as ever, although a little nervous if you ask me. We kept on walking until I heard a large sound from underneath. I looked down, and saw a small crack getting bigger by the second. I made the right decision, and jumped across the tunnel. Just in time too. Right after I jumped the ground fell right where I was standing. "ARCHMAGE!" yelled Frostagian, Adam, and Tom in unison. "I'm okay." I said weakly "Scared out of my wits, but okay" "Audrey! Audrey! Has anyone seen Audrey?" They shook their heads in response. "Oh no!" I thought. "I'm d-d-d-down h-h-here!" Audrey shouted through my thoughts. I looked down, and saw Audrey hanging by a small rock that was about to give away any second. "Audrey" I yelled. I shot my arm down where Audrey was hanging. "I can't reach you!" "Get him to grab your wand!" shouted Tom. I took my wand out of my pack. "The r-r-rock is br-breaking!" Audrey shouted through my mind again. I reached out my wand to Audrey, but the rock broke away... I looked over the edge, thinking that Audrey wouldn't be there. But I found something different. There was Audrey, leafy hands grasped to my wand for dear life. "P-p-pull m-me up!" Audrey stammered in my mind. "B-b-before I f-f-f-fall!" I pulled him back up, and hugged the little green monster. "Don't do that again!" I said. "Shall we go now?" said Frostagian, tapping her foot. "Right, of course." Frostagian, Adam, and Tom jumped over the gap in the tunnel, while I put Audrey back in my pack, and we continued marching. Finally, after what seemed like forever, we came into a large cavern lit with torches. I sucked the ball of light back into my wand, and looked at what was ahead. Dozens of trolls with large clubs were whacking the ground making tremors. Suddenly something grabbed me by the shoulders. We were caught. The trolls brought us to a large chair, where right there sat someone I hoped to never see again. My evil seven year old cousin, Ricky. "Well, well, well, who do we have here?" said Ricky innocently. "Hello Ricky." I growled coldly. Audrey jumped out of my backpack, and stood in front of us. "Why hello Audrey Jr. You have failed me." "Huh? What do you mean?" I asked. "You haven't figured it out yet? My, my, cousin, you're much dumber than I take you for. You see, I sent you Audrey Jr. with only one goal. To terminate you." "Audrey?" I said. Audrey looked down guiltily. I didn't want to believe a bit of it. "Ricky must be lying! He has to be!" I thought. "He was the one who cut the bridge down. The one who started the gap that was supposed to swallow you up. And the one who failed me." "Do you know what I do to failures?" Audrey shuddered. "I destroy them" Ricky raised his wand and threw a fireball at Audrey, who ran away before he got incinerated. "Shall we go after him?" one of the trolls asked Ricky. "I'll deal with the coward later, but for now I want to enjoy every last minute of my cousin, Archmage's, execution." Ricky raised his wand, beams of light shining in all directions. "Well, I guess this is good-bye." gulped Adam. "Nice knowing you guys." said Tom. "Done in by a seven year old." whispered Frostagian. Then there came a rumbling. But it wasn't the trolls, they stopped and listened to the rumbling noise too. Ricky lost his concentration, and snapped, "What is that noise?!" Then it happened. Enchanted Venus flytraps swarmed from the walls like an armada of plants. The trolls ran away terrified of the attackers. "Stop you cowards!" Ricky yelled at the trolls, but they didn't listen. "Grr! I'm out numbered by one to a million so I call a retreat, but be warned cousin! I'll be back!" Ricky shouted a spell, and disappeared. Then Audrey came up to me, head bent in shame. I knew what he wanted to say. So I picked him up and said, "I except your apology." And Audrey smiled. We found a way back to the jet, and reported back to the council. I went home tired yet again. My family set up the ornaments on the Christmas tree, and I went to bed setting Audrey in a pot of soil. He found it to be comfortable enough for him, and fell asleep easily. I hope you enjoyed this post reader. Tomorrow is Christmas eve, and the day after tomorrow is Christmas day. On Christmas day I will make a post on what I got, and If you get anything really awesome take a picture of it and send it to me using the email address: [email protected]Merry Christmas, or Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa, or whatever holiday you celebrate!
Hey Wizard and Dragon fans! How are you all doing? Something finally happened today! We sent Ziggy and Zany to the "Wizard Pet Care-taking Center" so we could set up the Christmas tree without it catching on fire like last year's tree. After finishing my homework, at around 1:00 pm, the doorbell rang. I opened the door, but nobody was there. I turned around to walk back inside when suddenly, I tripped over a box. I stood back up thinking "How did that get there?". The mysterious gift was about the size of a microwave oven, carefully wrapped in green wrapping paper with red stripes crisscrossing over the sides, and topped with a large, sparkly, silver ribbon. Just by first glance you could tell that whoever sent this wanted it to look fabulous. There was a card tied under the ribbon. It looked like a page from a really old book, yellow, a little bit wrinkled. I took the card out, and opened it. It read,
Dear Archmage, This Christmas is going to be a joyous time, so it took me awhile to figure out what to give you. I believe the thing in this box is just what you need to have a good time. His name is, Audrey Jr. You know the man eating plant Audrey from the movie "Little Shop of Horrors"? Let's just say that it wasn't fiction. Always take him with you wherever you go. Have a merry Christmas! From, Your Secret Santa.
I stuck the letter in my pocket, and tore off the wrapping paper. Underneath the wrapping paper was a box with a lid on it. Inside I could hear a noise. It sounded like a tree's leaves rustling on a windy day. I opened the lid and there right before my very eyes was... Okay, don't think I'm crazy because of the next thing I'm going to say. But, right before my very eyes was a "Venus flytrap". This wasn't one of the ordinary ones though. No, no, no. This one obviously was enchanted! How do I know? Well, the arms, and legs, made of vines kind of tipped me off. The creature sat up and yawned, revealing a wide array sharp, red, teeth. "B-b-brr! C-can it g-get any c-c-colder out h-h-here?" it thought to me in a stuttering voice. Yes, that's what I said. The enchanted Venus flytrap thought to me. You see? Sometimes other living, instead of talking out loud like we do, talk through telepathy. They find it quicker, and easier. "B-b-b-bring me inside or I'll b-b-bite your f-f-fingers off." Oh, goody. Of all the enchanted, talking, Venus flytraps in the world I get the one with an attitude. First my conscience, then Ziggy and Zany, now this. Why me? I took the plant inside, and was just about to use magic to light a fire in the fireplace when Audrey Jr. shrieked "N-nooo!!! M-m-my leaves w-will shrivel up!" "Well, how else do you want me to keep you warm?!?!" I growled. He looked around, and finally pointed at my mom's laptop "T-t-t-there. That l-l-looks w-warm enough." I wanted to protest, but he'd already tired me out in the time it took Ziggy and Zany to burn down last year's Christmas tree. So I picked him up, and laid him on the silver top of mom's computer. Later while I was typing on my laptop I got an email. I opened it. It was from the Wizard academy. I typed in my password, which I'm not telling you, and signed in. The wizard council has found mysterious tremors coming from Austin, Texas, and they wanted Tom, Frostagian, Adam, and me to investigate it. The private jet would be outside as soon as I click "ready". I packed my Wizard backpack, adding all the essentials. I came back downstairs, ready to go, "and looked over at my "Secret Santa" gift. "It would be easy to leave him behind." I thought to myself. "All I have to do is click the ready button, hop in the private jet, and Hakuna Matata!" "But what if he ruins the house? Mom and dad will kill me." I let out a big sigh, and nudged Audrey Jr. awake. "Wake up Audrey Jr. I have to go, and you have to come with me." "Don't c-c-call me that. C-call m-m-me Audrey." I picked him up, and clicked the ready button. Hearing a large, *whoosh!*, outside I went outside. My ride was here. I climbed on. Everybody was already there. "Hey, Archmage! What took you so long?" said Adam "This." I replied, holding up Audrey. "Whoa! Cool! Where did you get that?" "Yeah! I never seen something like that in the wizard pet store!" piped in Frostagian. "Looks like some ugly mutated dwarf to me." said Tom reaching his hand out. In response Audrey stretched out his neck, and nearly bit off Tom's fingers. "No! Bad enchanted plant!" I snapped at him. Audrey hissed at Tom, and curled up in my backpack. "Where's Ziggy and Zany?" asked Frostagian. "We sent them to the wizard pet sitters." "Why?" said Adam "You don't 'wanna know" "We are nearing destination point." crackled the electronic box overhead. Audrey hissed at it, and crawled deeper in my backpack. "What do you know? The thing's just like Ziggy and Zany!" Tom exclaimed. When we landed, and jumped outside, I felt a strange shaking coming from the ground. "Tremor!" yelled Adam. We all hugged the jet to keep steady, and as quick as it came up it went away. "Yikes." I said. "You can say that again." mentioned Frostagian. "I'd rather not." "So what now?" I asked. "The Council found an opening that might lead to the cause of the mysterious earthquakes." said the pilot. He was pointing to a cave in the side of the cliff. A rickety, old, bridge, held together with metal chains, was all that came between us, and the cliff side. That, and of course the bottomless chasm below. "Oh great." moaned Adam. "A broken down bridge. That sure builds my confidence." "Well, the day isn't getting any younger." I said. "Let's get going." Half way across the bridge, Audrey poked his green head out of my back pack. One look, and he sped back inside. I don't blame him. Right then even I wished I could hide in a nice, warm, backpack. We got across the bridge in about three minutes tops. Probably because of the fact that nobody wanted to fall in to the dark nothingness. We took a break in a little cavern by the cave entrance. Audrey said he was going to look for bugs to eat, and I was eating my lunch when I heard a grinding noise, And then a rattling snap! "Uh-oh" said Tom. We all ran to the bridge, and just like I'd expected, the bridge was broken, hanging on the other side of the cliff. Audrey ran up beside me and Thought, "W-w-what h-happen- whoa!" "I think somebody doesn't want us to leave just yet." I said.
Hey Wizard and Dragon fans! Sorry I haven't posted anything for a while. I've been busy as a bee. Hm? Oh! Not because of wizard duties! If it was I probably would've told you about about them already. No I was busy with regular stuff. Decorating for Christmas, going to my choir rehearsals, and keeping Ziggy and Zany from burning the house down. Well, actually I guess you wouldn't really call that last one normal. Very few people have pet wyverns. Including wizards. You heard right, most wizards don't keep wyverns as pets. They prefer owls, or rats. *Yuck!* Getting back on subject... I've been waiting for awhile now. What have I been waiting for you ask? Well, mostly I've been waiting for more people to enter the drawing contest. I mean, it's really hard to believe the number of people entered. One.................... Only one person has submitted. I was really hoping more people would try. This would be really fun if more people enter. If nobody else does there will only be one winner. I thought of a good prize too. Oh! I see I have your attention now. The top three winners of the drawing competition get to, #1 Have their picture, and pen name, hanging up in the "Hall of Fame" (coming soon). #2 Become email buddies with me (Unless you don't want to. If you do, use the email address on the "Email Archmage" page. must make up a new pen name when emailing me so I know when it's really you sending me emails.) #3 Ask Ziggy and Zany a question, and have it answered by them the next Friday. That's right! If you get in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place you win all that! Cool right? Okay don't answer that. It was a rhetorical question. I'm really looking forward to have more people send pictures in. :) Oh! Wait! I almost forgot the other reason I wanted to post this! It's about this game I want for Christmas. I have to admit that so far it's the best Nintendo DS game I've ever played. Wow! I've never said that about any DS game in the world. (Get on with it already!) Gee you always pop in the moment I'm really happy, or excited. And only to bark angry comments at me, or criticize my choice of words. (That's what I live for.) Oh, darn it! I forgot what I was talking about! (The game.) Oh, yeah. The game is called "Scribblenauts". An extremely popular game that came out September 15th, 2009. The idea of the game is to solve puzzles, and help the hero, Maxwell, find Starites. You can create literally anything in the dictionary, and more, with Maxwell's note pad. You use the things you create to help solve the puzzles. Like for instance, on the very first level standing in front of you is a tree. In the tree, is a Starite. You have to get the Starite out of the tree, to where Maxwell can reach it. There are many ways to solve this puzzle. You can write down, "lumberjack", on Maxwell's note pad, and the lumberjack will cut down the tree. You could also write down, "wood pecker" and the wood pecker will eat the tree. *snicker* write down, "magic carpet", and you can fly up to get it. There are, guaranteed, over 1,000,000 more ways to solve that puzzle, and over 200 puzzles to solve. But in each level there is a limited amount of items you may use at once. The less items you use the more Ollars you earn. Ollars is the money you use in Scribblenauts. You can use Ollars to buy different free-play modes. After you finish the level once you can do the advanced part. The advanced part is almost the same as the first part except you try to do the level multiple times, each time with items you've never used in that level before. By the way, when you're done reading this post, I've put up a You tube video about Scribblenauts. So watch that as soon as you're done reading this.Well there's my game review for "Scribblenauts". One more thing. As you might have noticed I edited the "Home" page. I made that change after I tried to show one of my friends my website, and he said he only saw a blank page. I've also edited a few typos in past blog posts, so you know just minor changes. Well I hope you have a good day readers, and remember, send in those pictures :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
Hey Wizard and Dragon fans! I just put up the Email Archmage page! Just remember, that if you have any trouble emailing me comment on this blog post about it, just as soon as you finish reading this. So yesterday remember how I told you that Frostagian and I would be going on a field trip to a medieval museum, for part of home schooling? Well, let me just say that it wasn't exactly the nice, and peaceful, field trip I was looking for. How about I start at the beginning? Hm? Yes I agree. Let's start. Frostagian, and I, have been sitting in the car for what seemed like hours, waiting to get to the museum. Very Important Wizards, or VIWs, such as Frostagian, and I, get their own driver to drive them around when doing things on earth. It was freezing outside. The temperature in the morning was 35 degrees Fahrenheit, and for the rest of the day it stayed around 40 degrees. When the car finally reached the museum Frostagian, and I, hopped out. I took a good look at the building. Just by first glance I could tell that it was extremely old- No, wait that would be a huge understatement. Think more ancient than the dinosaurs. The paint was peeling off so much, that you could use each peel as a giant sheet of paper. There were cracks in the windows from the dangerous, and unexpected, weather around here. And there was also- wait... What was that in the window? It looked kind of like someone in armor just watching me. "Come on Archmage! We're going into the museum!" Frostagian hollered. "Sorry I thought I saw something in the window." I called back. "Just come, and see for yourself!" But when Frostagian came over here it was gone. "I could swear I saw a person in a full suit of armor. He was standing right there "Archmage, it's a medieval museum. Not a haunted mansion." Maybe Frostagian was right. I probably was just imagining it. The whole place looks like a scare park anyway. Besides, haunted things can't live in this world. Right? The door creaked loudly as we opened it, and went inside. The driver stayed outside, to wait for us to come out. The inside of the museum was humid and smelled moist, which was very strange because of the temperature outside. We walked to the front desk. An old man sat behind the counter. He was staring hard at some sort of paper work, laying on his desk. We waited awhile, and he didn't even notice we were right in front of him. So I knocked on the old, wooden, antique to get his attention. The old man looked up, and smiled as if he had expected us. "Hello, My name is Mr. H. Can I help you with something?" Frostagian didn't look the least bit suspicious. "We'd like to look at the museum please." said Frostagian in a confident voice. "That would be $2.79" I handed him the money and he said, "Enjoy the museum. The place where history comes to life" Once we were out of hearing range from the old man I whispered to Frostagian, "Okay, that was a little too creepy for me. And what did he mean by the place where history comes to life?" "I'm sure he just meant that the museum explains history so well it seems real." "Maybe." I said. "But let's get this over with quickly. I don't want to stay here too long." To cover ground faster we split up. I went into the armor exhibit, and Frostagian went into the weapons exhibit. We both decided that we'll take notes on the things in the different exhibits and then on the drive back home we would read each others notes. When I walked into the armor room I looked at each different set of equipment. I looked every set up and down while writing notes. I came to the final case, but just like in all haunted stories the case was empty. Right then I felt a cold hand on my shoulder. I didn't want to turn around, but for some reason I did. Standing right in front of me was a full suite of battle armor. There was no human in it though. It was haunted. It raised its arm, and would have whacked my head off if I hadn't jumped out of the way. In response, I pulled out my wand, and yelled, "Frescisus!" What used to be a terrifying thing of destruction, is now a solid block of ice. Just then I remembered my friend in the other room. "RRROOOOAAAAARRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!" Frostagian! I ran to the other room as fast as I could, and There standing in the middle of the weapons exhibit was a large frost dragon surrounded by 10 deadly swords. Frostagian blew her ice-breath on a fifth of the weapons, and whacked some others with her tail. I cast another spell finishing off the last of the evil items. "Let's get out of here, now!" yelled Frostagian, turning back into a human. We ran all the way to the door when the old, creepy man just poofed out of nowhere! "Just leaving?" he said. "There is no escape from Mr. Haunted!" "Wait, that's what the M stands for?" "Well, yeah." "That's really pathetic. The next time you see us, come up with a better name. I mean seriously." "What do you mean by-" "See'ya!" I said diving under Mr. H's feet, with Frostagian following close behind. "W-w-w-wait! You're not supposed to get away!" "Too bad!" said Frostagian. "We just did!" Frostagian, and I wasted no time getting into the car, slamming the doors shut, and telling the driver to "FLOOR IT!!!!!". I got home at night explaining the whole thing to my parents. I wanted to go to sleep, but no one can sleep with thoughts of, haunted armor trying to destroy them, in their head. I hope you, reader, will get a good night sleep. Comment me a lot tonight, please. I'll probably be staying up all night, which is definitely long enough to read a whole bunch of comments if you send them.
